About Me

I am a graduate from the University of Georgia with bachelor's degrees in Journalism and Theatre and a Sports Media Certificate.

A little about me..all of my family is from the North, but I was born and raised in Charlotte, NC. I claim to be the only true southerner in the family and proud of it! My childhood was spent watching the New York Yankees and Duke basketball. My love for sports goes beyond watching, I grew up playing a little bit of everything from basketball, to volleyball, softball and soccer. I figured what better way to pursue my passion for sports than pursuing a career in sports broadcasting!

I also loved acting in TV/Film which is why I have a theatre degree. It wasn't until I transferred to UGA that I was introduced to the world of SEC football and it changed my life. I live for Saturdays in the South now and it reaffirmed my desire to be in sports media. I knew I could combine my theatre degree and journalism skills to become a successful sports reporter.

I was in a car accident after I graduated in 2015 which led to a medical journey of three years with chronic pain from nerve damage in my neck. During that time I was unable to work, but I knew when I healed that I needed to go back to Georgia to get into sports media program to develop my skillset in writing, broadcast and digital production.
